Thread Sealants
Nylok’s pre-applied, dry-to-touch thread sealants offer consistent and exceptional sealing capabilities in comparison to time consuming, messy user-applied products (pipe dope, teflon tape, etc.). These sealants are customizable in regards to thread coverage/placement, and are ready-to-use providing an immediate reliable seal against a variety of chemicals. In applications where locking is not recommended Nylok Precote® 5 can directly replace Teflon tape. Pre-applying these materials can save money in labor cost and improve quality since every part has a specific amount in the proper location.
